Dynamic Risk Profiler

Dynamic Risk Profiler is a web-based risk profiling tool, for accurately and consistently assessing an investor’s attitude to risk. The methodology is built on well established behavioural finance principles as well as original research commissioned by Distribution Technology. The 18 and 24 question questionnaires provided use psychometric risk profiling techniques to provide an initial assessment of the client’s attitude to risk, whilst the 5 item questionnaire provides an indication of the client’s attitude to risk.

Using the information gathered from the client meeting, your client’s answers are entered into Dynamic Risk Profiler, and the corresponding risk levels are displayed.

Following discussion with your clients regarding the risk levels generated by the questionnaire and the types of investor usually represented by these risk levels, the final risk level is selected.

A risk questionnaire report is generated, in PDF and RTF formats, that can be used to share the results of the risk profiling with the clients, and to provide an audit trail documenting the analysis performed.

Should you wish to edit the contents of the risk questionnaire report or add further information, the RTF version can be edited in Microsoft Word.
